Hop Into Easter With Style

In the event we do not get to celebrate Easter this year in the normal way we typically do, I would like to say Happy Eater! In hopes we do figure out how to celebrate Easter this year in some way, shape, or form, I thought it would be beneficial to share some tips on what to wear! My hope is that everyone takes advantage of the current situation and make it so they are able and want to celebrate. AND I have a new twist; This post is for both men’s and women’s fashion. I had help from my beautiful Maggie to create and design this years looks…

The funny thing about family gatherings is that I get really stressed out to go. Not because I am afraid of my family judging me for not figuring out my life yet, but because I never know what to wear. I always dress to impress, not for anyone else but myself. I enjoy looking good because then I feel good. And, of course, you must always be ready for a photo op.

In this post, I am going to be sharing five different looks with you. In my belief, each of these looks will speak to each of you, my readers. It doesn’t matter if you are man or woman, tall or short, skinny or curvy, there is something for everyone.

Dress Up

Dressing up for an occasion does not have to be extremely hard. It doesn’t always mean suit and tie or ballgown. This is the look we came up with:

For the ladies look Maggie decided to dress-up wearing a navy jumpsuit with a waist level knot. To spice up her look she added accents of yellow for a pop of color. I decided to go along with Maggie’s navy theme and capture the essence of her yellow accents through my nautical, gold jewelry. In general, I prefer gold over silver.

Ladies:

  • Pantsuit – Vineyard Vines
  • Footware – Steve Madden
  • Earrings – Charming Charlies

Gents:

  • Shirt – Zara
  • Trousers – NoHow
  • Footware – Steve Madden
  • Watch – Michael Kors
  • Belt – Vineyard Vines
  • Rings – KJP

Casual & Comfy

There is nothing wrong doing Easter simple and comfy as long as you still try! Check the casual and comfy look out:

Of course, some pairs of jeans are not the most comfortable, but, if it is done right, you can still make a comfortable pair of jeans looks very decent in an outfit. For the comfy look, we reeled in the sense of Easter through pastels; yellow, peach, and light green.

Naturally Neutral

This look is by far my favorite. I am a huge sucker for white, brown, and neutrally pigmented garments. On top of it all, look how cute Maggie looked:

There is something warm, light, and airy that bring the elements of this look together. The accent piece of this outfitting are the weaved loafers we are both wearing. Maggie’s footwear has an opened back whereas mine has a closed heel back.

Color Us Vibrant

Vibes up baby! What would Easter be without those cool, bright, and powerful colors? Of course, we had to channel our Southern living lifestyle:

Scared for our lives on some demolished railroad tracks hanging over water, we persevered. In my opinion, this is what Easter is all about; the bright, vibrant, and pastel colored clothing items. We pull these items out of our closet rarely, but when we do we do them right!

Ladies:

  • Dress – Lilly Pulitzer
  • Footwear – Jack Rogers
  • Earrings – Pearls

Gents:

  • Bracelet – KJP
  • Watch – Michael Kors

Black, White, & Classic

The final look is one that my Italian family will be proud of, black and white. I rarely wear the color black, but it is to my understanding people love it. I knew I couldn’t end this post without speaking to the people who are team black and white.

I personally think that I look good in black, I just don’t typically go for it in a store or when looking through my closet. For this look, we knew that black and white outfits can be boring. We included items that had prints and texture to make them pop and standout.

Ladies:

  • Jumpsuit – Marshalls
  • Footwear – Steve Madden
  • Jewelry – Grey Bandit

Gents:

  • Black T-Shirt
  • Trousers – Zara
  • Footwear – Aldo
  • Belt – Brooks Brothers
  • Bracelet – KJP
